I wasn’t really getting into this and then one of the zombie boys (nope, I’ve not yet actually cared enough to know which one is which) gives Kita a piece of his mind.
Given it was more or less what I thought of her after episode 1, and her hiding in the bed to avoid starting this episode was just this side of pathetic, it was kind of nice to have someone just tell it to her straight.
That said, even after she left her room she didn’t improve much until the end of the episode. It just takes nearly getting killed by the antagonist of the week and being saved by cute zombie boys to change your entire world outlook. With that in mind, it kind of makes me want to see the next episode to see if this is a lasting change or just a minor glitch in an otherwise unremarkable personality.
