A bunch of former swords have been turned into guys and are somehow tasked with protecting history from being changed.
Well, from the synopsis you pretty much should know what to expect. Way too many characters to ensure there is one of every type of guy around that the viewers of these particular type of shows can swoon over. Meanwhile, story and explanation are put to the side but let’s start and end with a sword fight. You would think for a show about anthropomorphized swords that the fights would be interesting but the opening one is a mess of overly close up shots (probably because it is someone’s nightmare) and the final fight is ordinary at best. That and I don’t think I’ve ever heard swords sound quite that fake as they swish through the air and clash in an anime ever before.
Right, I know this isn’t my type of show so I’m most likely dropping this one. That said, I am just a tiny bit curious about whether the story will progress so if I don’t find enough other shows to look at I may watch another episode or two of this.
