Forget subtle or slow building of tension. The Lost Village his the accelerator last week and just kept going. Characters run around confronting each other and their various monsters and once again nothing is explained.
Turns out Hayato is even crazier than I gave him credit for after the mob scene and it isn’t a new crazy. He’s been messed up for a long time, but points for his ability to maintain appearances.
The bus driver has also well and truly crossed the line and doesn’t look like he is planning on coming back anytime soon.
The end feels like it is drawing near with this increased pace but it doesn’t feel like we are any closer to events making sense.
The Lost Village is available on Crunchyroll.
