Tanaka-kun Is Always Listless Episode 6

Review:

This episode felt like it went at least an hour. And while I agree whole-heartedly that umbrellas are a pain in the neck, that’s about all I got out of this episode. It wasn’t funny or cute and didn’t progress any of the existing character relationships. The second half of the episode focussed entirely on a ridiculous mis-understanding that could have been resolved in an instant if any of the female characters in this show used their brains for that long.

I keep saying I’m going to drop this and I think this episode has finalised that view.

Tanaka-kun is Always Listless is available on AnimeLab and Crunchyroll.

  1. This is probably one of the weakest episodes in the series for me. After my initial excitement with this series’s first few episodes, this felt like a fall from grace to me too. Although I think it got better from here, it probably never returned to the great heights of the first episodes. I can understand why you dropped it here.

I'd love to know what you think.
