Overview:
A direct continuation from season 1, the story picks up with Sorey and his companions accompanying Rose.
Review:
This episode definitely assumes you watched season 1 and that you remember where things left off because we’re dropped right into the story with no introduction, no recap, and no artificial bits of dialogue where they reintroduce ideas or characters. As refreshing as that is for an episode, given I haven’t rewatched the first season since it aired it took me a bit to remember what was going on and who was who. However, once I got over that I really enjoyed this episode. We spend a lot of time on Rose and ensuring we’re all clear on her character. This episode doesn’t really add anything we didn’t already know but it is the first time Sorey’s really seeing her go about her business. And she is very business focussed.
Sorey on the other hand seems at a bit of a loss. He’s got his overall dream of what he’d love to achieve but no idea how to do it. He’s training and seeking information but mostly it just seems like he’s happy to have Rose drag him around for the time being. Anyway, if you enjoyed season 1 of this then you will probably have no issues with how season 2 is kicking off.
