BOFURI Episode 3 Review

While New World Online takes some steps to limit Maple in the game, Bofuri continues to be charming and easy watching. Take a tour of a virtual world with Maple and Sally.
We've got a good old grave digger mystery with a bit of a twist this week in ID:Invaded and with actual flow on consequences from Sakaido's actions last week things are looking pretty solid for ID:Invaded this week.
Episode 2 of Bofuri continues to demonstrate a charming understanding of casual gaming and gaming just for the joy of it. Maple joins an event and then is joined by her IRL friend who also decides to go with a slightly unconventional build.
The mystery part of this particular episode wasn't great but episode 3 of ID:Invaded does give us a bit more of an insight into Sakaido's mental state.
BOFURI is the kind of silliness that just works because it does. Whether it continues to entertain for an entire season remains to be seen but for now at least this first episode is mostly harmless fun.
ID:Invaded gives us two episodes to start the season (though I guess technically it had an advance streaming for those who had access). A 'brilliant' detective goes inside the minds of murderers to help solve crimes.
Faced with a world thousands of years after humans were all turned to stone, Senku sets himself the task of rebuilding civilisation and technology and he isn't going to let anything stop him. Dr Stone gives a fun look at life after the current world ends.
For those who haven't read the source, these final episodes will leave them wanting more and fortunately a second season has been confirmed. Episodes 23 and 24 of Dr Stone continue to be entertaining and full of pleasant surprises.
Scientific inventions, hard work, and Christmas lights come together in this pair of episode as Ishigami Village continues to rush technological advancement in order to prepare for the coming conflict. As usual, the cast carry the show and there's plenty to enjoy in this pair of episodes.
Following on from Null's emotional efforts to save Peta in episode 5, episodes 6 + 7 raise some serious questions about the nature of the Null's world while also giving us some fun beach moments and then some trouble at the dreaded school. Fairly impressive effort given how short these episodes are.
