Another isekai show using this week to deliver an extended flashback only in this case it was about characters I didn't care about telling a story that was uninteresting. Okay, I think I'd like to go back to the wrestler kidnapping animals at this point.
Worried about a summoned hero, what else should you do but summon a demon king? Only in this case what you get is a rival wrestler named Mao who is seriously hung-up on Animal Mask.
Genzo really doesn't have the drive to get his dream off of the ground. While he's happy surrounding himself with animals he isn't earning the cash to feed them and he isn't going to be able to start his business unless he has an income to secure a loan. That said, its pretty amusing watching him get distracted from his job.
Is anyone else concerned about the size of the cages some of those demon beasts are being kept in while Genzo sorts out his pet shop? Of course, that's a side-note as this episode introduces a dragon girl into the mix.
Episode 2 of Kemono Michi was more enjoyable than the first episode. The comedy is still a bit on the repetitive side but was a bit more amusing this time around.
It's that time of the season where we are taste testing the new shows as they come out. No decision on a watch list just yet but I'm going to check out as many first episodes as I can. Incidentally, this one isn't an instant drop, but it isn't exactly a high priority. Isekai about an animal loving wrestler isn't exactly shouting 'must watch'.
