This episode was not a train wreck. That isn’t to say it was good, but as an episode it was actually pretty functional. Yes, there is a totally unnecessary Princess-groping-lacking sequence but ignoring that we actually got a reasonable story with Seigi and some guy name either BB or Blood infiltrating a facility, BB teaching Seigi some actually useful skills about fighting with his tattoo, and then we went into various set ups for future events. The fight sequences weren’t as interesting as those in episode 1, but they worked well enough. I do have to wonder if we needed another illogical character dropped into the mix but it kind of looks like Mr Genius isn’t hanging around, hopefully. As I said, not good, but significantly more functional than some episodes have been.
