Haru is tasked with looking after his younger ‘brother’ Ren. The first few episodes jump back and forth between Canada and Japan but now Haru, his two younger twin brothers, and Ren are all living in a house in Japan.
This show keeps swaying between super sweet and super creepy and to be perfectly honest I’m not sure it is working for me. Affectionate kisses between ‘family’ are one thing but sneaking into bed and bite marks are a whole other level. Other than that, this show starts to look at Ren at school and kind of making a friend and the beginnings of Haru’s planning to open a cafe. The pace of the story has picked up since the first few episodes but it is still fairly slow moving.
Super Lovers is available on Crunchyroll.
