Well, that felt like an unecessary plot complication right at the end of the series. Is that seriously how this is going to end?
Last week it was announced that Haruka was coming to Japan and this week she arrives. Admittedly, her arrival does at least force a lot of conversations that should have already taken place and also force the characters to question themselves. So we actually see something in the way of progress this week, however it all seems just a little bit contrived.
Favourite moment this episode goes to the discussion about their names. While it really seems relatively pointless in the grand scheme of things, it was amusing.
According to MAL a second season is going to come out in 2017 and I’ll probably watch it but really very little has happened in this show to recommend it.
Super Lovers is available on Crunchyroll.
I will do a whole series review of this after I watch it in a more continuous sitting though I am going to suggest it won’t be overly favourable.
