Overview:
A fake psychic takes on contracts to destroy spirits but relies on a middle-school student (Mob) to actually do the work. And then there’s a count down to an explosion.
Review:
This is very colourful and energetic and there’s some interesting comedy elements in this show but it just isn’t for me. And that’s really my whole review. I was pretty apathetic while watching this but freely acknowledge that the show actually has a quite a lot of interesting elements that just didn’t grab me personally at this time.
I barely made it through One Punch Man given how little the protagonist interested me and Mob seems to have even less personality or personal drive. I think if this had come out last season when I was not really into all that many shows, I would probably have kept watching it, but given there are plenty of other shows I’ve enjoyed this season I’m going to drop it. That said, I will look forward to the reviews others have of this show and I’ll probably give it a marathon viewing down the line.
Mob Psycho 100 is available on Crunchyroll.
im having the hardest time with this series. i cant forgive how annoying that one character is and i just dont find the concept of Mob interesting. the counter made me curious, but it just doesnt have the same pull as the concept of killing anything in a single punch.
The counter is curious and probably the only thing that keeps making me want to maybe check out the next episode but I really was pretty bored while watching this so I’m resisting that obvious lure.
yeah, i would agree with that…still, the general response is making me wonder what i was supposed to get
Whatever it is, I didn’t get it.
Come on it was at least funny
I didn’t really find it amusing. I could see what they were going for but it just felt kind of dull – and the guy Mob is working for irritated me to no end.
The animation style isn’t really for humor. It has a name but i can’t remember it.
