Interviews With Monster Girls Episode 9

This story continues to have small moments that I really enjoy sandwiched inbetween random, silly, or pointless moments that do little to engage. The opening sequences with Sakae rolling around on the floor with her teddy-bear goes into the latter category being both silly and ultimately unnecessary to the story that unfolds after. Still, the interaction between Sakae and Takahashi this week was quite entertaining because it actually felt sincere.

This show is at its best when it focusses on Takahashi learning more about the demis and their lives and they begin to feel accepted and like they have a place where they can be themselves.

Then of course we go back to the three girls and things kind of become progressively more silly until the episode ends.

Interviews with Monster Girls is available on Crunchyroll.
