In Case You Missed It 2020 #6

My post for Somali and the Forest Spirit just gets later and later in the week to the point where I’m now officially an episode behind. That said, I think I managed to narrow my watch list down enough because I seem to be coping with my work demands and still able to follow the anime I picked this season. I did decide Haikyu and Magia Record would be binged at the end of the season and I’m going to also add Toilet Bound Hanako to that list because I enjoyed the first couple of episodes.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the posts on the blog as well as from the community this week. I really had fun on the first 5 days of my 10 Days: 10 Anime Boys posts. Next week I’ll finish that series just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The Con Artists have a nice review of episode 4 from Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken. This one looks at the difficulties of the creative process and is quite a good read.
Roger Pocock has a review of the emotional Your Lie in April. This anime is one of those that never seems forgotten and each time I read a review I remember how moving this anime was when I watched it.
Rise From Ashes is on day 6 of the 28 Day Shoujo Challenge and she’s taking a close look at a great character as well as comparing a single scene in the old and new version of the anime. Great stuff.
Kono Oto Tomare Season 2
K.A.L.T has a beautiful and reflective article about Kono Oto Tomare as they explore the life lessons that can be explored through watching this anime. While I was luke-warm on the anime, I really loved this post.
Pinkie is sharing their top 5 epic hero themes. Not only is this just a cool idea for a list, they’ve also included the songs in the post so you can relive some very cool music from some great anime.
Takafumi is reflecting on the year of anime that was 2019. There’s some great shows, characters and songs in this line up and it is a lovely post looking back at last year.
