The Autumn or Fall anime season is kicking off with this week and I’m finally getting my posting schedule back under control. I will say I haven’t exactly been blown away by any of the first episodes so far but it is early days. A Nerdy Perspective has a review of Girls’ Last Tour that is well worth the read. If you missed this sweet anime when it aired and are curious about it this is for you.
I watched an Anime reviews Mix and looks at how even as a non-fan of the sport they found this anime pretty interesting.
Crimson talks about why they love boys love and their husbands. It’s definitely a personal post and a great read.
Trust the Gaijin shares their thoughts on the final three episodes of Given. We all need some more Given in our lives. Some spoilers here.
Spacewhales shares their review of How Heavy Are The Dumbbells you Lift? This isn’t an anime I’ve watched but I enjoyed reading the review.
Lynn Sheridan reviews Isekai Cheat Magician and compares it to eating a box of crackers. I can’t say I disagree.

This Week’s Must Read

Jeko on Unnecessary Exclamation Mark (UEM) has a really detailed article that is an absolute must read for anime and manga fans. ‘Japan VS the UN: The Fight For Artistic Freedom‘ looks very closely at the issue of loli characters and the UN’s guidelines on child pornography and really the lack or reasoned discussion around this issue.
