In Case You Missed It

So I still haven’t decided if this is going to stick around as a regular feature, but here go again this week. Below is a collection of links to blog posts I enjoyed reading during the last week.

Grant the Thief posted his thoughts on a particular kind of anime piracy and it is an interesting read. I love how he classified different reasons for piracy and how he targeted one particular reason in order to focus his discussion. I also like how he managed to keep it from becoming a rant against anyone.

Lita Kino discusses anime streaming and looks at some of the services available and their features. Anyone who hasn’t committed to a service may want to check it out. She also gave us 3 reasons to give Fairy Tail a go. My main reason: Gray.

Scott on Mechanical Anime Reviews compares old and new battle shonen series. It’s a great look at how a genre has evolved/stayed the same.

Matthew over on Matt-in-the-Hat is doing the 30 day anime challenge and I loved his answer to question 15 (Favourite sidekick, pet or summoning). If you haven’t caught up with his answers hop on over and check them out.

Over on The Backloggers there’s a discussion about whether the reality and the game are separate examining the views presented in Netoge.

Flaconhaxx shared their thoughts about Owari no Seraph and how they came to like it after it got over it’s initial setting changes. If you are thinking about watching the anime it may be worth checking out.

On Bravo’s Babbles we got a run-down of Food Wars episode 10. It’s a nice summary of the events with some thoughts about where the series might head and what might lie in store for some of the characters.

Tessa on All About Anime is helping people out by posting the list of how to watch Bleach without filler. And that is worth sharing.

If there’s a great anime blog post from last week that you’d like to share, feel free to do so in the comments below and if you read any of these posts I’d love to know your opinion about them.
