Watch or Drop? Vlad Love

Well, given I'm breaking my own rules here and making a decision after one episode, it is probably pretty obvious what my thoughts on Vlad Love are. If you want to know why I didn't continue be sure to read the full post.

Watch or Drop? Wonder Egg Priority

Wonder Egg Priority is an anime that has popped up on my twitter feed a number of times during the season and I hadn't really figured out what sort of anime it was. That's probably because its a little hard to describe. Anyway, here are my first impressions and my decision on whether I'll continue with this anime.

Characters With Irreconcilable Differences This Week In Anime

While The Promised Neverland isn't quite living up to the promise of season one, it isn't terrible and the conflict between Emma and Norman is an interesting path to explore. Meanwhile Cells at Work brings back the best villain (victim) from season one with Cancer making a reappearance and he's most certainly making an impact.

Watch or Drop? Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

Alright, second title of the season to be taste tested and it is... an isekai. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Does this one end up on my watch and review list?

Watch or Drop? Horimiya Anime

With the Winter 2021 Anime Season passing the half-way mark I decided it was time to start checking out what was on offer and planning which shows I was going to watch and review at the end of the season. While it isn't the best way to select anime, I decided to go with the 3 episode test before determining whether an anime was being added to my watch list or dropped for good. This method isn't being used for sequels given I'm largely just deciding whether I'll watch them based on whether I liked the previous series (so Attack on Titan: Final Season is going to be reviewed but I won't be doing a taste test). Today I'm giving my first impressions of Horimiya.

Is Season 2 Of The Promised Neverland Weaker Than Its Predecessor?

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Discussion

There was a lot to love about season 1 of The Promised Neverland and I was eagerly anticipating a season 2. Now we have it and I can't help but wonder if maybe this second season is missing the mark.

Ominous Appearances Abound This Week in Anime

So much going on in the episodes this week with The Promised Neverland dropping another bombshell upon us, Cells at Work finally stepping up to the plate and Code Black seems to have the whole body going into meltdown. There's some thrilling watching this week so let's get to looking at the episodes.

Invading Forces Are Kind of A Theme This Week in Anime

Whether it is guys in military fatigues invading the kid's shelter, gonorrhea taking on the white blood cells in Code Black, or good bacteria finding its way into the digestive system, episode 4 for all of these shows seems to be about invasion.

Pimples, Erectile Dysfunction, and Hidden Bunkers This Week In Anime

Jumping into the third episodes of The Promised Neverland, Cells at Work and Code Black and I must say my responses to the three episodes are pretty mixed. Given anime usually pull out all the stops to keep viewers going it is interesting how the 3 series have differed. Read my full thoughts in the post.

Should We Hunt, Trap, Or Just Get Sloshed This Week in Anime?

I'm continuing my watch of The Promised Neverland and the two Cells at Work offerings and I must say while this is a much reduced seasonal load for me, I am very much enjoying it so far.
