Episode 2 gives us kind of more of the same only less focus on the multiple girls and more focus on what appears to be the core cast (at least for now). The overall result is an episode that works even if it isn't exactly mind-blowing.
I know already Val x Love is not really my kind of anime. An ecchi, comedy, harem anime isn't exactly my speed. Yet with few other premieres out, and a number of shows dropped before the end of episode 1, I at least made it to the end of the first episode here. How's that for a recommendation?
