This episode did an excellent job of reminding me why I hated Glenn during episode 1 and why, despite the positive personality traits he’s exhibited since, I always remember that I hate this character. It doesn’t help the last few minutes of screen time he gets this episode attempts to make him seem all caring and concerned because we’ve just watched him spend an episode making poor innuendoes toward one of his female students, convince the boys that they should in fact stare at the female students in their swimwear, and offered fairly creepy in the context compliments to the girls on their swimwear.
The one slightly interesting point from this episode was learning more about Re=L as she became the cliché transfer student.
And there we have it. Off colour jokes of inappropriate relations between student and teacher as well as heading straight back into cliché territory. That was pretty much episode 1. While this show has delivered some great entertainment inbetween now and then, this episode was not particularly promising.
