Dream Festival Episode 1

It’s a show about idols and that’s as far as I got.

At this point I haven’t actually finished episode 1 so I’m pretty positive this is going to be my only write up on this series, unless everything else is dreadful forcing me to go back and finish. That said, for people who like idol shows there doesn’t seem to be anything broken here. However, I cringed through the opening concert and then rolled my eyes as balloon guy made children smile and by the time we got to pointless rivalry during ‘training’ I called it quits. I’m really not the right audience for this show.

At this point I’m declaring this probably dropped.

Dream Festival is available on Crunchyroll.

  1. Having been paid to review Love Live, I was forced to finished the entire series. What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed it. But I’ve never cared much for idol anime, and prefer a more subversive bent like Perfect Blue. Needless to say, I won’t be bothering with this one.
