On Twitter last week I mentioned that I was coming across a large number of great blog posts all at once and I decided that it would be nice to put the links all in one place, of course by then I’d forgotten at least half of the posts I’d read so could really only find the one’s I’d shared on Twitter. I don’t know if this is going to be a regular feature or just happen when I’ve read a lot of really interesting posts in quick succession so remember to, but we’ll see how it goes.
From Lita Kino over Anime Corner we have a great post full of recommendations of anime for non-anime fans. This is really helpful because it is always difficult deciding what to use to introduce someone to anime so that they see what anime can really be. If you didn’t see the post check out Lita’s Beginnings Anime Recommendations.
On Pinky’s Palace, celebrating Miku Hatsune’s birthday, we have a countdown of Top Ten Miku Hatsune Music Videos. Guaranteed to make you smile.
Over at Fenris Now we had a great question put forward. While logically we all understand why so many future worlds have narrowed the human population to one location it really doesn’t fit with what we know about reality. Read And The Rest of the World Is…?
KimmieKawaii on Inner Thoughts of an Extrovert has very helpfully put together a brief explanation of anime genre for people who might not know what they are getting into with some of the lingo. A Guide to Common Anime/Manga Lingo for Newbies is a great read.
And lastly, Shadowlight is asking for assistance in rebuilding his anime collection and wants to know what titles others would suggest. If you want to spend some time thinking about what you would do if you were starting to build your anime collection from scratch, head on over and offer your opinion.
That’s me done for this round and I’ll think about whether I want to try this again. In the meantime if there’s a great anime blog post from last week that you’d like to share, feel free to do so in the comments below.
