I too was kind of taken aback at the darkness of the episode, but mainly that scene where Mina dies… I am really looking forward to seeing more from Elias and Chise though. This show hasn’t really disappointed me yet.
As I commented over on Weekend Otaku’s blog, I was really surprised at the darkness of this episode. I did not know this series would head down that road. Still another great watch. I really love this series 😀
The show has always kind of had that dark undertone (I mean it did start with Chise selling herself) but I still wasn’t quite expecting it. Not that it was bad given I really liked it, just unexpected.
