So, I actually didn’t notice when this happened until Raistlin nicely pointed it out and then WordPress sent me a cute little notification. But, at the start of the year I set a goal of reaching the 1000 follower mark and now it’s happened.
So, pretty much I just want to give everyone of my followers a huge thank-you (I guess times 1000).
But while I’m writing I might as well do a quick reminder that my 1 year anniversary for my blog is coming up on the 1st of May and I’m looking at running some special posts in that week with the help of some of my followers.
If you are interested in being a part of my blog’s anniversary (because the followers are the reason the blog keeps going), please contact me. I’d like to feature a post about your blog and some of your posts and then have maybe 100 words that you’ve written about why you love anime, or what you like about my blog, or whatever. I’m happy to discuss.
Of course, if you’d like to support my blog in other ways, please check out my patreon. I really would like to look at doing more with my blog but need a little more time that can be dedicated to it if I’m going to expand my content. I don’t think there’s really any secret. I pretty much just want to talk about anime (and other geeky stuff) so I visit and interact with lots of people on their blogs. Some of them choose to follow mine. Mostly I’ve just loved interacting with the community and I love having so many people to talk with who share an interest.
Hey, interaction and connection–that’ll do it, that’ll do just fine. We’re all so similar in our love for anime but present many different dishes to the banquet of enlightenment . . . this community sure is a wonder.
There’s definitely a great community on WordPress to engage with. I’m so glad I started blogging.
